Location

The main campus etched in the mildly undulating 100 acres of land is situated in the verdant landscape of the Western Ghats. The Kanjirapally - Erumely State Highway borders the main campus on one side. The campus is equipped with modern facilities for teaching, training, research and consultancy, laboratories, workshops, library, hostels and play fields

Management

The college is founded and managed by the diocese of Kanjirappally. It is steered by a governing body of 21 senior scientists, engineers, educationists and renowned officials. The core group consists of His excellency, the Bishop of Kanjirapally Mar Mathew Arackal, Fr. Aji Athimoottil(Manager of the College), Dr. P.Basak (Director of the College).

Academic Programs

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) offers five degree programs(B.Tech) of 4 years duration namely Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

60 students are admitted in each branch through joint Entrance Examination conducted by Govt. of Kerala and as per norms of self - financing institutions. Few seats in each discipline are reserved for NRI students. Apart from regular professional courses in the above four branches of engineering, the students are trained in various self enhancement programs, like personality development, spoken English, communication skills etc...

Dr. P.Basak, the Director of the College heads the academic program and the administration of the College. Educated and trained in IIT Kanpur and MIT, USA, he is an eminent scientist with more than 200 research publications to his credit. He is supported by a team of dedicated, academically brilliant and professionally competent teachers.
