The school provides education for boys and girls right from pre- primary to grade 12(Plus 2). It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi - ICSE.

Management

K.T.R.S is managed by the Kalabhavan Educational Trust headed by its President Rev. Dr. James Aerthayil C.M.I, supported by the Board of Trustees consisting of Mr. James Kulathumkal, Mr. Andrew Nettikadan and Mr. Jose Thomas Ettuparayil. Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (C.M.I) congregation known for its excellence in the educational field lends its support and guidance in managing the school. The Rev. sisters of St. Elizabeth from indore also assist in running the school.

President

Rev. Dr. James Aerthayil C.M.I is the president of Kalabhavan Educational Trust. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of Kalabhavan Studios Ltd., and adorns the position of chairman of Rashtra Deepika Group of publications too.

The Principal

Dr. C.J. Joseph is a specialist in school management with a Ph.D in American Literature. He is an elected member of the Executive Committee for the ISC and author of several books for school children.

For Children of 3 to 5 years of age, it is more of a play school where children learn to mix and mingle in a world of toys and computers. They learn to play, sing, dance, paint and to enjoy themselves. Newly inaugurated 'Phantasia Land' is a unique children's park for our kids.

Primary School Level

At the primary level, the school provides a strong foundation in developing the all-round personality of the child. Students are evaluated in a continuous and comprehensive manner so as to avoid examinations and rankings. The music and artistic talents of the students are enriched by the exposure to various extra-curricular activities.

Middle school level

At this level the 3 language formula is introduced. Students are encouraged to explore and develop their creative talents by providing them avenues to express themselves. More emphasis is laid on extra curricular work at this stage. Membership is given for various literary clubs in the school. Leadership training also begins here.

High School and Higher Secondary level

At this stage students are prepared for their ICSE(X) and ISC(XII) examinations conducted by the Board. Special care taken to provide a conducive atmosphere to learn and relax. Selection of art subjects as optional, a hallmark of ICSE, is the special feature of this stage.

We provide a good boarding system, managed and supervised by Rev. Sister, who enable the child to grow towards independence through interaction and sharing among themselves. Sound moral and religious decorum is maintained.
