AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Even though a Catholic minority institution meant to provide religious and moral education to Catholic children, this school admits children of all castes and creeds. As Catholic educators, the members of the Management consider it their duty to show due respect to the religious feelings and freedom of conscience of their non-catholic pupils. Catholic students are given a course of religious instruction. Non-catholic students are required to attend a course of moral instruction that aims at instilling in them the fundamental duties of man to God, to himself and to his fellow men.

The school aims not merely at preparing the pupils to pass examinations, but also at fitting them out to take their right places as learners in the intellectual and civic life of our nation. With this end in view the school makes a careful selection of the pupils and demands a high standard in ideals and academic attainment. All the school activities are directed towards this end.

A student of Kuriakose Elias English Medium School is expected:-

  • To be gentle and kind to one another in and out of school;

  • To observe faithfully the rules of discipline and obey all duly constituted authorities;

  • To develop healthy habits of mind and body by constant self discipline;

  • To acquire qualities of leadership and competency in the art of expression and persuasion

  • To strive to be gentlemen and learn to serve and be helpful to others.

  • To be truthful and honest whatever be the cost;

  • To be respectful to their parents and elders;

  • To have a sense of neatness and cleanliness of oneself and surroundings.
