Matha School is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Tiruvalla. The school gives emphasis to the careful development of all the moral and social values which form the basic qualities of an upright citizen and a perfect gentleman, and prepares the young for service and responsibility in national life enabling them to foster deep attachment to our cultural heritage.

The school, started in 1979 with a Kindergarton class, has grown into a Senior Secondary School(Junior College) affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi with a strengh of 1900 students. The courses offered in the +2 stage primary aim at grooming the students in such a way that after completing the Senior School staage they could develop competence to prusue professional courses like engineering, medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, Agriculture, etc. In addition to this the school offers the study of Computer Science with all the equipment required for the purpose.

The dimension of growth within a decade of its inception bears testimony to the excellent facilities facilities provided by the Patron, His Excellency Geevarghese Mar Timotheos, Bishop of Thiruvalla, and to the sincere and deidcated efforts made by the Manager Fr. S. Kakkanatt

Facilities

The superior facilities and the warm environment provided by the school are sure to help our students learn and grow in harmony with the needs of the socitey.

We have three big laboratories with all prescribed facilities according to the high standards of C.B.S.E .

Additional facilities are provided for children who show special talents. We also have an efficient shcool bus service. Regular prayers are held at our prayer hall to instil a sense of brotherhood in our students.

Sports and Cultural Activities

Along with academics we also promote sprots and cultural activities, because we believe growing children need lot of activities besides mere book learning o stimulate their imagination and widen their mental horizon.

Athletic competitions and games are held every year and we have produced some excellent talents in sports and games.

We also conduct cultural events for music, art, drama, etc. to bring out the best in our students through healthy competition. Children can also opt for one or more clubs according to their choices like sports club and science club. Study tours are conducted for higher classes thereby taking learning outside the four walls of the institution.
