SELECTION PROCEDURE

TOSC consists of 3 Rounds. Round 1 is a written exam, based on which 500 students from each pool will be selected for Round 2.

All questions are multiple choice types - with negative marks for wrong answers, as specified in the question paper.

Questions in the Aptitude section are of different weightage according to their level of difficulty, to avoid rank clashes.

Based on their score in Round1, 500 students from each pool will be selected to submit an abstract of their solution to any problem pertaining to the physical and social environment of their vicinity.

A few example problems would be given on the TOSC website, but students are expected to select such problems and suggest practical solutions for them on their own.
