മുംബൈ: റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്കിന്റെ മുതിര്‍ന്ന എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ജി. ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണ വിരമിക്കുന്നു. സെന്റര്‍ ഫോര്‍ അഡ്വാന്‍സ്ഡ് ഫിനാന്‍ഷ്യല്‍ റിസര്‍ച്ച് ആന്‍ഡ് ലേണിംഗ് (കഫെറല്‍) ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പദവി ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നതിനായിട്ടാണ് അദ്ദേഹം വിആര്‍എസ് എടുക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. ബാങ്കിംഗ്, ഫിനാന്‍സ് രംഗങ്ങളിലെ ഗവേഷണത്തിനും പഠനത്തിനുമായിട്ട് 2011 ല്‍ റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് ആവിഷ്കരിച്ചതാണ് കഫെറല്‍.
