ഇഞ്ചിയോണ്‍: പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ബാസ്കറ്റ്ബോളില്‍ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ബിയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യക്കു വിജയം. പലസ്തീനെ 89-49നു തകര്‍ത്താണ് ഇന്ത്യ ആദ്യ ജയമാഘോഷിച്ചത്. ഇന്ത്യക്കുവേണ്ടി അംജ്യോത് സിംഗ് 25 പോയിന്റ് നേടി. തുടക്കത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യ 20-6നു ലീഡ് നേടിയിരുന്നു. വോളിബോളില്‍ ആദ്യ മത്സരത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പുരുഷന്മാര്‍ ഒന്നിനെതിരേ മൂന്നു സെറ്റുകള്‍ക്ക് ഹോംങ്കോംഗിനെ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തി.
